Astrology is the language of energy and therefore it is the language of the universe. Carl Jung understood that very well.

Most people know their sun sign and the characteristics it relates to, but astrology is more than just about where the sun was holding court on the day of your birth.

The energy of the sign in which we were born in is a main signifier but always needs to be seen in relation to the other significators (Moon, Ascendant, Nodal Axis, Saturn, etc.).

The sun sign is our life force and embodies the currents we float through in this incarnation. It sets the tone and  pace of our life, and is relates to our individuality and personality. Together with Mars it governs the active aspect and explains how we approach our life.

To fully understand your energetic makeup you have to take a closer look and examine your birth chart. 

The birth chart is a snapshot of the sky at the moment you were born. It gives clues to your major life lessons, shows your journey, reveals your individuality, personality and soul's purpose as well as your hidden desires and shadow self.

Astrology is  a tool for understanding one's energetic makeup, which refers to the unique blend of energies and tendencies that shape your personality, emotions, and interactions with the world.

1. Sun Sign: This is the most commonly known aspect of astrology. Your Sun sign reflects your core essence, ego, and the primary energy that drives you. It's often associated with your identity and how you express yourself.
2. Moon Sign: The Moon sign represents your emotional nature, inner world, and subconscious mind. It influences how you process emotions, your instincts, and what makes you feel secure.
3. Rising Sign (Ascendant): The Rising sign is how you project yourself to the outside world. It governs your outward behavior, appearance, and first impressions.
4. Planetary Influences: Each planet in your birth chart rules different aspects of your life and personality. For example, Venus influences love and relationships, while Mars governs energy, drive, and ambition.
5. Houses: The birth chart is divided into 12 houses, each representing different areas of life, such as career, relationships, and personal growth. The position of planets in these houses can indicate where your energies are most focused.

By analyzing these elements, astrology aims to provide a deeper understanding of your energetic blueprint, offering insights into your natural tendencies, challenges, and potential growth areas. Do I need my birth time?

Yes, to get a comprehensive reading the birth time is required. It provides the Ascendant and degrees of all planets and points in your chart. You can get information from the birthday, year and location, but a reading with out the birth time 'taste' like a half cooked, bland meal as it doesn't give us one of the main ingredients: the ascendent. The ascendent is the door to all of 'our houses' and it colours and filters our view of the world. It's a vital part of the chart as it also gives us our ruling planet.

Are sessions recorded?

Sessions are not recorded, though I'd recommend taking notes.

Can I get my session in written form?

Yes, if you prefer a reading in written form I can provide that. Please use the contact form to request more information regarding delivery time etc. You can pay for written readings using the booking page.

How should I prepare for a session?

In order to be fully present I'd recommend meditation or some other form of grounding (a walk in nature etc.) before the call. If that's not possible I'm happy to start the reading with a short meditation.

Do I need more than one session?

This is completely up to you and how deep you want to dive into the subject/matter. I'd recommend a foundational reading to begin with. Give yourself some time afterwards to let it all sink in and reconcile it within you. If you feel like diving in deeper we can do a follow up reading or you could look into applying to my private coaching program.
